The Art of Hacking: Inside the Government Agencies

As I browsed my facebook account dated September 27, 2012 at about past 12 midnight, a friend posted a note notifying the public that the websites of Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas http://www.bsp.gov.ph/ (BSP) and http://www.mwss.gov.ph were hacked. Well, she seemingly adheres to the uncanny act of this hacker, I should say! I value the freedom of expression as much as the Filipino people do. I praise the government if there is something worthy to be praised of and so I, too, can criticize and scrutinize. What is freedom, afterall? Presently, the Legislature passed a senseless and personal gratification bills. They consciously forget to introduce ones which sincerely be of valuable to the citizenry because "I" matter, hence, shall be considered forthwith.

The mere act of the brave soul is astounding. This is a shouting-out-loud freedom of a concerned and politically cognizant individual whose fundamental objective is to thwack the Philippine Government for its abysmal performance. Lo siento, but frankly speaking, I am saddened by the fact that the Philippine Government never stops deceiving its people.

I support this hacking agenda!! Booooo to the administration of Noynoy Aquino!!!! Duuuuuuh!

Leap of faith

So many things happened unexpectedly. I had been slapped with painful moments in life. My world was almost on the ground. I asked Him for that simple happiness, but failed to grant it. From that moment on, I learned to forget God. I did not take Him seriously. It showed upon my actions in dealing with the daily life. Shallow the cause may be, but the effect of it in the truest sense of the word was blatantly the greatest mistake done not to myself, but to the people I dearly loved. I was carrying a heavy burden, then. I am struggling. Indeed. I got tired with life. I'm searching for my purpose but I was so puzzled knowing the significant me.

People are easily deceived, or maybe it is because I am the master of pretending. No one dared to ask if I'm "suffering," too. They tend to believe that I own happiness. Whereas, I was always questioning if it was made available to me. Looking so downcast as they failed to pinpoint which is which. Eyesight is different from insight. What's inside my heart, only I can see. I've seen holes, stitches and wounds that are yet to mend but it still remains whole and fully functioning. Ironically, as such, I taught myself a lesson, one at a time, that God has been good to me ever since and will always be. A realization that life has its up's and down's, that people will constantly in search for the meaning of life but would never grasp its eloquence. At least, just appreciate its "mysteriousity!" (if there's such a word!!!).

Suddenly, I became thirsty for God's words. Admittedly, I am not a Bible-reading fanatic. I quench my thirst through listening to healing/enchanting soaking music and was introduced to believing in God again. My faith was now in control. It is where I established my substantial relationship with Him. Everything's under repair was repaired. My spirit has been refreshed. For the first time, I value my worth.

After years of disregarding my faith, presently, a lady here is happy enough to live the life as it should be. God accepted, embraced and openly welcomes me back to paradise.

Back to square one, ON THE VERGE OF CONSTRUCTING MY LIFE at Elysian Fields.

10 THINGS I WANT TO DO BEFORE MY JOURNEY IS OVER...

1. Vacation by myself in New Hampshire and Tibet.
2. Organize humanitarian work for the poor and homeless (street children, etc.)
3. Learn how to ride a bike.
4. Tell my parents and Aunt how much I love them.
5. Bungee-jumping.
6. Beach-strolling; watch sunset, sunrise and just feel the energy released by the beach-sand.
7. Play with my dogs at home.
8. Go somewhere where no one knows me and appreciate the beauty of everything & everyone.
9. Fall in love with someone (showing of a love from the perspective of a dying person).
10. Smile, accept and let go.

Conundrum

Which came first,
EXPERIENCE OR MEANING?

When we were children, a favorite riddle used to be, "Which came first, the chicken or the egg?" This conundrum was so sticky that it stayed with us even into adulthood and became a cliche indicating any difficult situation of logic.

Maybe meaning in life is somewhat arbitrary. People go to work, and their work becomes part of the meaning to their lives. People marry and have a family and declare that these are the most important things to them. If they had taken different jobs, or if they had married a different person, or if they had renounced the world and had become nuns and monks, wouldn't their lives have had different meanings?

And then we have the people for whom life dictated so many of their meanings: A person with physical deformities will have a much different life than one born healthy. Someone born into a wealthy, aristocratic family will obviously have a much different outlook than a beggar's child. Someone born in Asia will look at life differently than someone born in Europe.

So which comes first, those who say that meaning comes from our definitions, or those who declare that our circumstances our meaning?

Before becoming a student again..

I'm 22 and still a student. Everyone is saying that it's fine coz I'm still young and there's more time to accomplish what I intend to accomplish in life. The idea that most of my friends already have a job, keeps haunting me. :) I really don't know what I want because all I know is what I don't want. I'm still in a state of grasping how things should work out. After five years of studying in University, have one year hiatus and now I'm back, being a student; law student. It kinda bothered me since this idea of me entering on this kind of profession came in my childhood years and ended during high school. A little on my college years did it create confusions whether "to or not to." Finally, the former dominates the latter. Four years in law school or so, plus review and a grueling-month of the actual bar exam. That supposedly "nth years" would have been enough years for me to live as a working class and letting me enjoy my salary, travel and do things I want to do for humanitarian purposes. I decided to pursue the dream of the "childhood me" and now, let the game on! Needless to say, there is a need for me to indeed master the Handbook for Life: 52 Tips for Happiness and Productivity. HahaHa!!! It's a serious thing---procrastination and sidetracking is a BIG NO NO. Somehow, I gotta find means how to avoid those activities I've used to do.

What I feel now? I feel like tomorrow is my wedding day and that today is the last day of me being single. Lots of butterflies in my stomach. It's like you are not ready for tomorrow's ceremony and that you are afraid to take a higher commitment. Oh geez!

Wishing my self a productive five or perhaps, six years in my chosen profession. :)

Simple Things I Ask Myself to Do

While enjoying life, I cannot tell whether I lived a fulfilling life. There are things that I want to do but haven't yet tried. Simple things in life! It's all for free. Yeah, it's free but I can't have it. Maybe, I can but its all about using my keen imagination. It's where I get transported to the other dimensions. Things in life I cannot do but I can whenever I'm on that certain dimension.

I was always the adventurous type constantly seeking new ways to introduce thrills in my life that no one would ever dare do but I'm just afraid. I never had any idea how an adventurous type of a person could easily be afraid of simple things. Perhaps, when one takes the picture of something, it looks so easy. Sometimes there is also a need to realize that simple looks can be deceiving at times. :) For others, it's just terrifyingly hard to deal while for the rest, "oozing"--so easy! Most of the time, my dopamine level is low that I become so moody that I already forgot that my other self longed for adventure in life!

So far, I want to try two worthwhile activities if time permits: Simple it may seem to others but if personally completed, I will be the most fulfilled individual ever created! hahaha

1. Biking! Mountain, along the roads or even at the backyard. Being so eager to learn how to ride a bike, I dreamed of it a hundred times. I felt the easiness in my dream but on the actual one, Am so intimidated to try! I hate myself for that. Few friends of mine told me before that I'd miss a part of my life if I won't try biking. I envy them hugely! I want to feel how they feel but the feeling won't let me feel to feel that way. Truly sad for me. My parents didn't like the idea of me riding a bike ever since so I never had the chance to appreciate and indulge myself on that one. The blame must be on them! ~_~ Now, it is time. Take the Plunge!

2. Bungee-Jumping! Ghaad!! There's always this excitement in me when I think of giving it a try! It started with a little joke once boredom kills me. I would say to myself to try bungee-jumping as this is one I considered, to give a thrill in my life. A lifetime of existence, I never ask for anything but freedom---one thing that I'd say lacks in me. Let me experience that freedom that only birds flying in the firmament could feel at least for once. I wanted to try bungee-jumping so badly!! It would be like committing suicide only to find out in the end that the act failed. Rather than dying instantly, you still have the enormous chance to feel the freedom of life having you lived. Push to die but the rope said, "I have to pull you back, just giving you a glimpse of how beautiful life is!" I gotta try it!!!!! Hmmm... My life is not exciting so there's a need for me to be responsible to make it as exciting as possible. I will soar in the air, someday!
